Those of you who don’t know her that well may think of Vicki Richter as just another pretty face that likes to play practical jokes and cause drama… I say, ‘Not so fast…’ Every once in a while cruising the TS Message Boards, you really get a small glimpse of a whole other side of Vicki Richter that really makes you sit back and say… ‘hmmm…’ On the subject of whether she has or has not quit since not too much new material has surfaced recently:
No I haven’t quit really. I just struggle with the fact that most girls are now earning less than half of what I made per scene. Depending on the DVD or web site, I can pretty much lock down what a girl is working for.
Regardless, it is just that the business has changed and I haven’t wanted to change. I sincerely have looked the best in my life over the past year that I have gone without shooting.
I’m a bit disenchanted with the industry as a whole and it has nothing to do with not getting offers to do this or that. AVN now has people win who never did a movie in the year they won, did one movie, did a movie that “maybe” sold 500 pieces globally but they sure yacked a lot about it and how innovative it was… It is really ridiculous.
At a point, I really felt the AVN meant something, but it is really the lamest accomplishment ever. Because we’re circus freaks, we get to share an award with joyful male TS performers and other ridiculousness. When that happened, I wanted to take a blow torch to the thing. I was watching the 2009 awards on Showtime and they cut out the TS award section. Fuck them. Why did you put us in there Joanna just to be treated like second class citizens? You have dumb ass male talent and beak nosed female talent accepting ridiculous awards, why not TS women? They even cut out the part where a video wins TS Video of the Year. AVN hates TS regardless of the award… and they are progressively falling apart at the seams, and it is good to watch.
Wendy wins for doing a black gang bang movie… but has anyone actually seen it here? Even one person? Was the performance inspiring? Did she do a double anal? Did she swallow their cum? Did she suck their dicks out of her ass? I sincerely doubt it. Wendy has her credits as a performer and has done some cool things with video, but this??? Really??
Seanchai might be on to something with his tranny award thing. He’s literally probably the only company owner who actually cares and who is passionate about our industry.
